Lucy, from a NaCSBA perspective, numbers generally range from 100 people to several thousand (Cherwell). Many councils have well in excess of 100 people on their register without much publicity. Where councils (eg. Teignbridge) have publicised/promoted their registers (as required under the 2015 Act), numbers go up quite significantly. As we have said in this Toolkit, it is vital that councils adequately publicise their registers. We will be saying more about numbers nationally later in the year so watch this space.
