To help grow and develop its activity, the Right to Build Task Force has appointed Adam Broadway as Head of New Business, supporting the Task Force’s ambition to provide targeted support to facilitate the delivery of more Custom Build, Self Build and community-led housing across the UK.
A qualified town planner with over 30 years’ experience, Adam is tasked with generating new business and promoting the work of the Task Force, building its connections with local authorities, community groups and a range of housing providers.
With experience of senior development and partnership director roles, Adam has delivered a range of new build housing and regeneration projects and brings practical experience in design, procurement, and project management.
He’s also Managing Director of Instinctively Green, which provides strategic sustainability advice, and through which he led the delivery of Cambridge’s first self-commissioned Cohousing Project, K1, designed by Mole Architects with the site developed by Trivselhus and TOWN.
Commenting on his new role, Adam said, “Over the past few years we have seen a range of new and exciting Self-build, community-led housing and self-commissioned housing schemes being delivered.
“With legislation in place to underpin the sector, the Right to Build Task force providing first-rate advice to organisations wanting to deliver Custom Build housing options, regardless of the scale. Quite simply, there hasn’t been a better time to deliver new Custom Build housing options, and we’re keen to help more organisations access this innovative new sector.”
